As summer is ending and fall is nearing and the kids back to school, let's stay in touch regarding your policies and accounts for next year preparation purposes. We're in the final phase of our building conversion and we're excited to have you in once complete. Parking is limited throughout the renovations, so please be aware if making an unscheduled visit to the office.

I can speak for the rest of our team in saying - We enjoy being your Agency! Our team experience spans several decades and we look forward to many more years of service to our neighbors. Through the years we have felt privileged as an agency to serve others in and around our community in such a meaningful way. In our office we feel no one does #Community quite like we do! Causes and organizations we've supported include; Gitanjali, Columbus Recreation & Parks, Girls On The Run (Central Ohio), Whitehall Education Foundation, Volunteers of America, as well as numerous other local businesses and social service organizations in the area. Chris Sparks

Chris is in his fifth overall year with the #AJStateFarm Agency and brings an enormous amount of industry experience both inside and outside of our office. Chris has had experience on every level of our team from Intern to Customer Service to Small Business Account Manager where he helped immensely with assisting our Commercial and Small Business partners design a plan for their insurance and financial service needs.

Currently in 2024, Chris is primarily serving in the role of Quality Control Analyst for our agency. He is specifically focused on communications to policyholders regarding their renewals for both personal lines and commercial. He also provides additional administrative support to our agency for after-hours quote or service requests by existing or prospective State Farm customers.

Chris played collegiate baseball at Youngstown St. University and Otterbein University in Columbus. He is an avid sports fan, whether it's playing 18 holes himself or watching anything Cleveland sports related. He is newly engaged and is looking forward to his upcoming wedding in the fall!

Courtney Kunkel

Courtney is in her fourth year with the #AJStateFarm Agency and our team Captain. She brings a wealth of State Farm experience through her journey with our office. Courtney's primary focus in our agency is to provide policy and coverage insight to new and existing policyholders. Courtney is the main contact in our office to conduct policy reviews and assist with policy related changes. She is tremendous with making sure you are empowered through education as she ensures all customers know exactly what options and selections are available to them. Additionally, in 2024 Courtney will be shifting more focus to assisting customers who have questions related to income replacement, supplemental medical services and age specific medical planning options for those nearing or at retirement.

She is the cheerleader of our agency, always maintaining a positive attitude and brings a great deal of devotion to all that she works with.

Courtney is a lifelong Columbus resident, and when not at work you can find her spending her free time with her significant other Aaron, less than 1 year old son and their loving pets.

Rita Williams

Customer Service Representative

Sharita or "Rita" is in her 3rd year with #AJStateFarm and brings an incredible array of professional experience. Sharita has proudly worked in early childhood education both in the classroom and on the leadership side as well. She is most commonly the first person you'll see or speak to in the office and she's excited to get to know you!

Rita primarily assists our policyholders with their policy documentation, billing and claim related correspondence. Additionally in 2024, she will begin working with our newest policyholders as we onboard them to State Farm and our agency. We're excited for her to get to know you and help make sure you have a wonderful experience with our office.

When Rita is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband CJ and (3) children. They are frequently on the move watching her son play basketball and involving themselves in their school and church communities.

Grant Brown

Marketing Associate

Grant is now in his second year with #AJStateFarm office. He is also completing his second year at The Ohio State University where he is studying at the Fisher College of Business with a discipline in Insurance. Currently, Grant is one of our Branding & Onboard Specialist tasked with making connections in the community through our office contact program, social media and community events. Additionally, he may be one of the first faces you see in the Agency as he serves as one of our New Customer Onboarding Liaisons as well.

When Grant is not introducing new policyholders to State Farm, he is an avid Buckeye football fan who you can find at most games in the fall or spending time with his significant other Maia who is also studying at The Ohio State University.

Felicia Herron

Felicia is in her first year with #AJStateFarm and is excited to meet more of our policyholders. Her role as a Branding Specialist will be to make connections in the community through our office contact program, social media and community events.
